A Little About Us

We started Stable Life because we have a family member with special needs.  He cannot work due to his difficulties and is considered pre-vocational. We started Stable Life so that some day he can go to an office just like his younger brother does. As we grow we will lease property to create an offshoot business - Doggy Day Care and Overnight Canine Camp. Regional Center adults can volunteer in any of the various options this type of business offers. They can feed, walk a dog, pet and love a dog, hang out with the dogs, do office work, work in the dog store selling toys, food, dog greeting cards, create dog greeting cards, … the options are almost endless. Pursue their passion or just help by doing what they enjoy doing. Everyone needs a purpose and reason.

We put parents’ needs first with a close second being the caregivers’ needs. We strive to pay the highest rate to caregivers and streamline the hiring process.

Our founders have years of experience working with individuals with special needs and have successfully started and run another special needs non-profit which is still thriving to this day.

About Our Non-Profit

Stable Life Services, founded in 2018, is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to supporting families/caregivers and individuals with special needs. We are located in Santa Cruz County and serve Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, Monterey, San Benito Counties, and even more! As of late 2018, we became a vendor for San Andreas Regional Center (SARC), providing in-home respite services to those families served by SARC. Our goal is to make using your respite hours as easy and stress-free as possible. We strive to pay respite workers the highest possible rate to maintain the highest possible job satisfaction. Our ultimate goal is to provide volunteer opportunities for our son and others like him.

Vision of the Future

As we grow we will lease property to create an offshoot business - Doggy Day Care and Overnight Canine Camp. Regional Center adults can volunteer in any of the various options this type of business offers. They can feed, walk a dog, pet and love a dog, hang out with the dogs, do office work, work in the dog store selling toys, food, dog greeting cards, create dog greeting cards, … the options are almost endless. Pursue their passion or just help by doing what they enjoy doing. Everyone needs a purpose and a reason. This space will be used as a hub to enable clients to have a base camp for their endeavors into the community and also provide space to offer classes in art, cooking, music, etc. It will be our Stable Life Nest. Clients’ with in-home respite can be supported going to their normal out-of-home activities - provided by this office. We can also be a resource for the soon to be launched Self Determination Program. The community will be invited to be involved and become an integral part of the operation. There are so many dog lovers in this community - - - we are bound to have many volunteers willing to help and include our adults.
