“The real secret to a fabulous life is to live imperfectly with great delight.”

A Little About Us

We started Stable Life because we have a family member with special needs.  He cannot work due to his difficulties and is considered pre-vocational. We started Stable Life so that some day he can go to an office just like his younger brother does. As of November 1st, 2021 we have done it! Leased a beautiful office space in Seascape Village, Aptos! We are now in the process of creating an offshoot business and organizing classes! Regional Center adults can have access to all we have to offer. Coming soon!

When it comes to respite we put parents’ needs first with a close second being the caregivers’ needs. We strive to pay the highest rate to caregivers and streamline the hiring process. Our caregivers are companions for our clients. They bring friendship and caring to your home.

Our founders have years of experience working with individuals with special needs and have successfully started and run another special needs non-profit which is still thriving to this day.

About Our Non-Profit

Stable Life-logo (13).png

Stable Life Services, founded in 2018, is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to supporting families/caregivers and individuals with special needs. We are located in Santa Cruz County and serve Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, Monterey, San Benito Counties, and even more! As of late 2018, we became a vendor for San Andreas Regional Center (SARC), providing in-home respite services to those families served by SARC. Our goal is to make using your respite hours as easy and stress-free as possible. We strive to pay respite workers the highest possible rate to maintain the highest possible job satisfaction. Our ultimate goal is to provide volunteer opportunities for our son and others like him. As of November 1, 2021 we have achieved our ultimate goal! We have leased a fabulous place in Seascape Village, Aptos, Ca and are in the process of developing classes and structure for our adults.

Vision of the Future

We have leased a beautiful and exciting retail/office space in Seascape Village, Aptos. This space is our Community Activities Hub where we are in the process of opening a Gift Shop to provide pre-vocational activities for our adults with special needs. We’re also starting social/recreational* activities including music, dance, art, cooking, yoga, functional fitness. The Hub is a place where learning new skills and branching out into the community is a daily event. By partnering with local businesses and organizations we plan to cultivate a strong sense of community with fun and inclusive activities and events that everyone can enjoy. We are a resource for the Self Determination Program. Come, join the fun and get involved!

*The Social/Rec category for SARC families will be added to the options you can ask your Service Coordinator for. This option will be available within a month or two. It is in the development phase as of March 9, 2022.
