A Little About Us
We started Stable Life because we have a family member with special needs. He cannot work due to his difficulties and is considered pre-vocational. We started Stable Life so that some day he can go to an office just like his younger brother does.
When it comes to respite we put parents’ needs first with a close second being the caregivers’ needs. We strive to pay the highest rate to caregivers and streamline the hiring process. Our caregivers are companions for our clients. They bring friendship and caring to your home.
Our founders have years of experience working with individuals with special needs and have successfully started and run another special needs non-profit which is still thriving to this day.

Brett is a very fun and loving individual who really enjoys working with horses and cars. He has fueled our passion and has been an inspiration for all of us to help individuals with special needs and the families that support them.
Alan Wright
Finance Director
Having over 30 years experience running high tech companies with 1000+ employees, Alan brings immense business insights. He also has over 30 years experience working with individuals with special needs too! He’s our resident psychiatrist, behaviorist, and plain old nice guy!
Kevin Burman
Director of Operations
Kevin is guided by the belief that every individual has both the right and the capability to lead a fulfilling life. Using his extensive and varied experience in management, customer service, and business operations, he plays a key role in ensuring that Stable Life Services consistently provides the highest standard of care possible.
Matt Wright
Program Director
Has known and worked with special needs individuals all of his life and has experience with all aspects of non-profit work. Matt brings much needed knowledge into how to reach into the community to help spread the amazing services we provide.
About Our Non-Profit
Stable Life Services, founded in 2018, is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to supporting families/caregivers and individuals with special needs. We are located in Santa Cruz County and serve Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, Monterey, San Benito Counties, and even more! As of late 2018, we became a vendor for San Andreas Regional Center (SARC), providing in-home respite services to those families served by SARC. Our goal is to make using your respite hours as easy and stress-free as possible. We strive to pay respite workers the highest possible rate to maintain the highest possible job satisfaction. Our ultimate goal is to provide volunteer opportunities for our son and others like him.
